Who's Impacted

The beneficiaries of our work include all generations of people in the Dominican Republic living in the targeted rural villages, urban barrios and bateyes. Additionally, Impact Life’s work touches multiple cultures and ethnic groups. Impact LiFE will reach both Dominican nationals, and Haitian migrants and refugees.

Water filtration plants improve access to a stable source of clean water to the local communities. Additionally, they will provide a sustainable income to locals who will be in charge of maintenance and distribution.

Classes stressing the importance of sanitation and hygiene practices will be vital in lowering the occurrence of deadly illnesses.

Educational workshops focusing on ESL and financial literacy will be implemented in order to assist community members with skills necessary to be future leaders in their communities.
